EQ Posted on my CR "Paid Collection." HELP ! [credit report score] [direct energy]

I sent EQ (CSC) a letter asking them to check deragotory acct. The account was of OSI Recovery System (CA) and the OC was Direct Energy. Direct Energy was clearly wrong in reporting that account and gave to it. They sent me the information for which I had a $ 0 balance and never late on payments. Now, Post EQ on my CR “Paid Collection.” I've never had this posted on my CR and do not know what it means. Is it still on my credit report score? How do I get these removed and I go, OSI, or EQ Direct Energy? How do I do that? Do I DV OSI again? I send a letter to EQ? or do I have to DE and what next? I am really lost on this one. I can say that EQ does not confirm this TL within 30 days as well . Any help is welcome . Thanks .:)

Reply:If you want to sent an ITS, that's your decision. I try never to contribute to someone's decision to sue or not to sue. It is such an important personal and financial decision.

I would say that you shouldn't say anything verbally or in writing that you're not prepared to follow through on.

Reply:Do I send OSI an ITS ? I already DV'd them. I have noticed that when you send an ITS threating to sue by a certain day they usually remove it.. what do you think ?

Reply:Who is doing the reporting? OSI, I bet.

If so, write them, informing them of the error and their responsibility to remove it, and include proof of the error.
